FOR THE ENERGETIC
The Munros
Ben Klibreck. 3154 ft. (Munro)
Best climbed from Klibreck on the South side of
Loch Naver. Beware of gullies & precipes on the North
slope. A straight forward hill walk: time required 4 - 5
hours
Ben Hope. 3040 ft. ( Munro )

Best climbed by well defined path from
Strathmore. Even in mid-summer conditions on the summit
can become severe very quickly: as for all hill walks ·
always carry warm clothing. Time required 3.5 -4hrs.

Ben Loyal 2506 ft.

( Corbett ) Queen of the Scottish mountains
Best climbed from Loch Craggie on the A836 Tongue - Lairg
road. A more direct but strenuous route is available from
Ribigill farm South of Tongue. The highest of the summit
knolls ( An Caistcal ) is best climbed on its West side.
Time required 4.5 - 5 hrs

Ben Hutig 1338 ft. Easily climbed from
Achininver, provides fine coastal views from the summit.
Time required 3 - 3.5 hrs.
The Watch Hill 1008 ft.

Towering above the village of Coldbackie ,is easily
climbed from East of the village. Excellent views are
obtained in all directions from this aptly named summit.
Time required 2.5 - 3.5 hrs.
